Futsal games will be organized in both men’s and women’s categories. Teams will be divided into groups, where the number of groups and number of teams in groups depend on the number of faculties/universities taking a part in this competition. The two best teams from each group will qualify for the playoffs in a single elimination format: quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.

    The following tie-breaking system shall be applied in order to determine final ranking(s) of group stage:

  • 1st – 3 points for a win / 1 point for a draw / 0 points for a defeat or forfeit
  • 2nd – Mutual result (head-to-head)
  • 3rd – Better goal difference
  • 4th – Higher number of goals scored
  • 5th – Barrage match (if teams are not from the same group)
  • 6th – Draw (if teams are from the same group)

Will depend on the number of participants. In any case, about 30 participants will compete in playoffs and last 6 will play in a round robin system.

CHESS

 
SYSTEM OF COMPETITION WILL BE PUBLISHED IN PRAGUE, ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT.

    The chess competition has its own FISU Regulations following the most recent rules of the Federation Internationale des Echecs (FIDE). The FISU Regulations are always set up on the recommendation of the FISU Technical Chair and the UCI Technical Delegate in close cooperation with the Committee for Sports Regulations, and approved by the FISU Executive Committee. In principle, the programme shall last one or two days and include the following events:

  • – one (1) men’s tournament
  • – one (1) women’s tournament

Each country is authorized to enter unlimited number of players.

At the first General Technical Meeting, the Head of Delegation or his/her representative shall confirm and sign the official list of competitors accredited by the OC. Individual classification shall be based on the total of points scored during the game.

The format of the tournament will be Swiss system or Round Robin. Depends on number of players.

    Time Control:

  • – 10 minutes for all moves with an increment of 5 seconds per move, starting from move 1.
  • – 5 minutes for all moves with an increment of 2 seconds per move, starting from move 1
